Went on a date with Jun , My favourite girl in my Uni. hehe
We decided to watch a movie that day and it was Jun's pick , she picked The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
I must say the movie was nice but it's so scary, we had a lot of *i want to leave the cinema moment* , we kept it all to ourselves.
After we finished our movie , we start talking and discussing about the movie and both of us were like ... it's so scary!
How are we going to walk back later. HAHAHA Anyway, we survived that movie wuulala hahaha
Then Jun brought me to a super awesomely awesome Korean Restaurant,Book Kyung Ban Jeom. hahaha
She introduced me Ja Jang Noodles , so both of us had Ja Jang Noodles, it was soooooo nice but the portion was a little superior in amount, i couldn't finish it. Sigh
Next time i know , we can share , hahaha WASTED ! ;( hehehe I can't take away cause it was after Christmas and back at home , it was full of food, TURKEYYYYYYYYY.
Now, for every new Restaurant that i go , i give Original a try and for the next visit i will order their special dish. hehe i'm just too smart. hohoho LOL
We also had a side order Spicy Chicken. Yums
I had a wonderful day spent with Jun, hehe shall do this again. ;DDD

Christmas Eve Hot Pot session

Hihi, i think i've done a great job by updating my blog religiously.
Actions speak louder than words, one of my New year resolution, keep my blog updated. teeheee
So many posts to do, just give me some time, hopefully i can load it all up here before the Winter semester starts. *finger crossed*
It was 2 days before Christmas hehe 23rd of December 2011 , Jonathan decided to gather all of us at his house for a hot pot session to celebrate Christmas.
We had a great time hot pot-ing and watching Nasi lemak 2.0 and Love you you. HAHAHA
The best part is , we have to buy a gift and at the end of the day , then we exchange the gifts.
Giving and Receiving gifts , isn't this the best part of Christmas? Anyway, the best part of Christmas, is not the gift itself, but what lies behind the gift.
So back to the exchanging present part, we had all the presents numbered with cards , each of us will pick a card and take the gift that matches the card.
I got a Starbucks Tumbler, heheh yay ;D I've needed one and i guess Santa happens to glance through my wish lists.
We weren't satisfied with our night and we went for a part two.
Karaoke for all you can sing. hehe #likeaboss Mix2 Karaoke in Burnaby.
It was a really fun night out with the clique, shall do this again , i just don't know when ;( After the semester? T.T

Not to forget , after our meals, we had a sweet indulgence, Green tea ice cream cake and Tong Yuen.

Ola, The writer met a new Gf here, Emily!
After our Badminton in Richmond, Andrew and Emily brought us for Dim Sum.
DIM SUM, i've never eaten it since i came. WHAT~~~~~ i am so kelian T.T hahaha
Not anymore, I swear the Dim Sum Em took us to was sooooo mouthwatering.
I'm actually a fan of Dim Sum , to be honest. hehe
i love BAO BAO BAO BAO NAI HUANG LIU SA BAO , CHA SAO BAO , anything related to BAO. I LIKE I LOVE.
Just like how super Bf loves to call me Miss Bun , anything dough can make, i think i will like it. LOL

By seeing the line , i know this is going to be good.
It was 2pm that day when we arrived at Fisherman's Terrace , the line was quite long , luckily Em called to make reservation, if not ...
Then when it was our turn to go in , i cannot believe my eyes.
It's so packed , the tables were all full. Oh my, it's 2pm and people are still eating Dim Sum , just like me.

We double almost all the food, heheh just can't get enough of it.

The Cheesecake factory , Seattle WA

Dearies, you know how i love sweet things, it is just irresistible.
Truth be told, i've never heard of The Cheesecake Factory, but, it's now lock in my mind.
By seeing the name, i was grinning from ear to ear. The Cheesecake Factory. hmmm *smiling now*
The line took an hour , they don't take reservation , W-h-a-t~... It seriously took us an hour for a table for 5.
This is one of the longest wait i've waited for a table. o.o The wait was worth while though. hehehe
Not only it's cheesecake that live up to its name, the food too.

TCF features more than 200 menu selections made fresh from scratch each day. ^^

I had combinations , Steak Diane, Angus Beef Steak covered with black peppercorns and mushroom wine sauce and Herb Crusted Salmon which comes with a Lemon Sauce, the best!

Gilbert had Pasta Da Vinci, comes with Madeina wine sauce tossed with Penne Pasta and Parmesan.
Alan had Farfalle with Chicken and Roasted Garlic, Roasted parmesan Cream Sauce topped with Pancetta, peas and Caramelized Onions.

Shrimp with Angel hair ,instead of sautéed with lemon garlic and Herbs & Fresh Basil, Gavin made some changes to the sauce, he asked for Parmesan cream cheese instead.
Pinky had Chicken Bellagio, crispy coated chicken over Basil Pasta and Parmesan Cream Sauce, NICE

Like what my previous post has said, when you go for a new food, go original.
Same goes to this Cheesecake, we went Original, the Creamy Cheesecake with a Graham Crust and Sour Cream Topping. *New York Cheesecake style*

Pike Place Market , Pike Place Chowder, Starbucks.Seattle,WA

It's 2012 readers, Happy New Year.
So , with whom you spend your yuletide time? I spent it with both family and friends.
It's one of the best i've ever had.
New year, New Resolution. I've been looking to get a jump on my new year resolution since November *after finals*,
i thought i would be dead boring , who knows , i was pretty occupied by outings, short trips and house parties.
I should really start doing some New Year declaration now. mehhh
Time has been increasing at an ever-accelerating pace, why oh why.
it's the 2nd of January already. ahhh time , y u no go slower? LOL
Weeks ago , the writer went to the States for a sightseeing trip with her friends, Pinky, Alan, Gavin & Gilbert.
The first stop was Pike Place Market.
Pike place market is a public market overlooking Elliott Bay waterfront in Seattle.
The best place for small farmers , craftspeople and merchants, one of the most popular tourist destinations.
The first attraction that caught my eyes, definitely the huge crabs, salmons, lobsters... ,
then i was told that ,rather than passing them by hand ,the employees throw the super huge three-foot salmon and other fish to each other.
When i Google about this, i found out that, this tradition started when the fishmongers got tired of having to walk from table to counter.
Ohh boy, human ... hahaha this throwing from ice-covered fish table to countertop, eventually became a major attraction to Pike Place Fish Market.
hahah It even appeared on several episode of television.
If you are a Starbucks Coffee lover, this is a must visit place, the first Starbucks Coffee store was born here in Seattle.
Actually ,the first Starbucks was at 2000 Western Avenue(Seattle), it then was relocated to 1912 Pike Place(still Seattle), where it remains to this day
The company later expanded rapidly and you know how the story goes.
I didn't know a pig can be an attraction too. LOL
Rachel , a bronze cast piggy bank is an unofficial mascot of Pike Place Market. HAHA
I thought it was so cute and was wondering why there are so many pigs when i walked around the market. Now i know. Tskk
Don't underestimate this big pig, it can raise up to USD $9000 annually in just about every type of world currency.
They say , nothing says Seattle like the Space Needle and the Public Market (Pike Place Market).
And nothing speaks chowder like Pike Place Chowder, Indeed.
What i like about this place is , it's not only an award winning chowder shop , it's more than that.
I like how they provide all you can eat baskets of oyster crackers and sourdough bread to grab right where the napkins and spoons are , who does that?
It was as expected, really delicious. I tried the Smoked Salmon on a bread bowl , the others had Clam Chowders.
The smoked salmon chowder was nice but i like the clam chowders better,
One tip for you guys, when you go on a holiday , go local , when you eat, eat original. hahaha *winks*
At the end of it all, we were extraordinarily happy and surprisingly full.
Gavin even bought himself a chowder to go. HAHAHA

Have i mentioned about a wall which is beyond nasty?
A wall full of gigantic mountain of germs (Gums) , i have to admit it is very unique but , really? Gums?
I have still yet to contribute, but perhaps some day I will.

Haro Readers, how's your Christmas week so far.
Mine was definitely one of the best. hehe
Though i miss all my friends and family back in Penang, i still manage to celebrate a memorable Christmas here in Vancouver.
Anyway, i'm not going to update about Christmas yet, will do it soon, too many food , festive season, where you can't say no to food.
The day after finals, where all the post exam fever starts, meet up with Daphne at Shangrila Hotel for High Tea and catch up session.
Been so occupied by school , tests , exams , finally the first Fall Semester ended. *big relieve*
Daphne recommended to Shangrila Hotel as it is her favourite place for High Tea. hehe
I am so happy to go there cause i was greeted by white Christmas trees , makes me anticipate Christmas even more. ;DD

the middle tier , freshly baked scones comes with cranberry & orange and macerated stone fruit.

The year 2011
Definitely a life changing one, and today is one of the most life changing moment i've ever had.
Today, i suddenly come across 'something'.
Something that i always knew but today it strike me , it strike right into my heart.
I am a lucky girl. omg can't believe i'm saying this.
I am blessed, with all wonderful things in life , love.
I am spoilt , by all the material things and the luxurious life i'm living.
What is this ?! Sorry readers, all these thoughts shaken me. Tsk
I can't believe this, i can't believe that i am admitting i am spoilt.
I've live in denial for so long. hahaha
Oh my , i am blessed with love, tons of love , plenty of love , just too much , i am drowned by love. hehe
Anyway, my point is , what is it that we are finding in life,
what are we uncovering , the path that has been planned?
I think i'm starting to get a little insight of what life is all about.
Not going to reveal it though. blek ;p
Just want to say i am blessed , loved and lucky.

I swear i nearly slipped for more than 2 times., didn’t manage to reach the pier as we were running late.
Still, i am grateful for this beautiful park , Rocky Point and the amazing scenery.
One of the best choice i've made, to come here. Such a wonderful place to live in.

Kaneda , Japanese Restaurant, Brian’s Farewell

Since i've touched on Brian leaving Vancouver, let's just continue with his Farewell.
We decided that we should have a proper farewell with Brian as he is taking a semester off, boohooo
I want to do that too. But i can't ;( *cries*
So Pinky texted all of us, we are going to have All You Can Eat again.
It's the same place where we had our AYCE the last time. Kaneda.
It serves Brian's and Gilber's favourite sashimi, Hokigai , which i personally don't really know how to enjoy it.
Ohh well, dinner was as usual awesomely awesome, we were all stuffed by all the delicious food.

Ps: If you are hungry at the moment, my advice is, don’t continue.

‘ 'I'm free like a bird! Weee fly up high, haha hopefully this coming 2 weeks is more than enough to rejuvenate myself,
also , for this coming 2 weeks ,there's 2 things which is on top of the to do list, time to wrap up the year 2011 ,
think about what i've learned and you know, just reminisce about what we refer as a past.
Next is, be prepared to accept what life will throw upon us ,
Anyway, i reckon 2012 is going to be a wonderful memorable year that promises to give me a smile on the face when i think of it and lots of travelling??? *finger crossed*

Tealips Bubble Tea and Coffee , Edmond

I don't have wait till(Friday) to be happy, cause out of 3subject, i've done 2.
Woohoo 2down, one to go, which is next week. Excited, excited.
Ahhh thinking hard what to do on Christmas. Any plans?
Since i can shake my legs and my butt, i might ask well use the time to update my blog, as promised.
So it was on Pinky's Birthday, after our hotpot session, you know,
Perfection comes after dessert. I've wanted to try out the waffle which is located on the same block,
they've been telling me how delicious it taste, so so so wait not more. weeeeee

We had Brussel Waffle , a butter base belgian waffle,
it's fluffy inside and crispy outside,
needless to say, it's delicious. hehe
Tried Mixed Berries , Cinnamon and Matcha. haha
The only disappointment is that i wanted to try the other kind of waffles,
The Liege waffle which is brioche bread dough base, i think i have 'something' with brioche.
Anyhow, it's really nice, i'm sure i'm going back for more, soo when's next? ;D hehe *puppy eyes*

No i can't believe my eyes, it's been almost a month. ;(
My blog is all rusty =( Sigh blame the never ending tests. Brrrhhh
On a brighter note, the first semester is ending,soon... a boohoo or a yay??
I'm not really sure, final is imminent, definitely a booooooooooooo.
The year 2011 promises to be a wonderful yet unforgettable year, you bet.
Can't believe how time flies and how i survived all alone in this far far away land.
okay okay, stop crapping, let's start with some all you can eat Round One, 'ding ding ding'
We've been talking about going to this place for ages , we finally had the time to.
We reschedule and postpone it from one week to another, finally we found our time too. Woohoo
Too bad Gavin didn't manage to come, who on earth have test on Sunday! hahaha *laugh laugh laugh*
So it was Kaneda, a Japanese Restaurant which we were all excited to step foot into it.
Especially Brian and Gilbert for their Hockey Guy(Hokkigai). hehe
I've forgotten we had how many rounds of Sashimi but it seems never ending, i mean the stomach. haha
No doubt a satisfying meal but i was literally stuffed. LITERALLY.Filled to the brim.
but but i really don't mind re-visiting the restaurant again. hehe hehe hehe... ... HAHAHA

Start of with Miso soup, ordered a total of more than 6 miso soups, crazy or what. haha
Then for Sashimi we had beef,Hokkigai,Fresh Oyster,Salmon,Spicy salmon,
We didn't have many Nigiri Sushi as you know it's Carbs and it's filling. ;p
Followed by Beef on Skewered,Salmon Belly,Zukkini, Yam,the list goes on...

Singapore, 1837 TWG Tea Ions

Hello there, i finally come to my senses that i haven't update about my Singapore Trip with Super Bf? o.O
Let's start our journey, after months of anticipation, we finally meet in Singapore for a 3days 2nights trip to Singapore.
Our first meal in Singapore was at 1837 TWG Tea , IONS , meet up with Brother Choong, HinYen.
No doubt the food at 1837 TWG Tea was satisfying.
From the the tea to the sandwich , macaroons , Crème Brule and Chocolate cake with ice cream, it was luscious.
Though it has been months , by seeing just the photos i took , it's still very alluring, just like 'that' moment when your food were served and 'that' first bite.
i miss... everything , and You(CY)especially. hehe i look forward to our next trip. ;D
I must say despite the food, desserts and teas , the ambiance wasn't really a sweet memory.
It was extremely crowded, having the tables so close to you, was somewhat annoying as high tea should be in a peaceful manner. Isn't it?
Besides, we actually waited for nearly 30minutes for a table.
Albeit the crowd-ness, we still enjoyed our self with our never-ending stories to update about each other.
Extensive doesn’t quite describe the tea menu enough, with a mindboggling selection that run the gamut from classic to exotic to rare, served in finely contoured teapots.
The tea i tried was Rum Tea, i've always been a fan of Rum, the tea was dainty.
The hand sewn teabags allow the tea leave to surrendered its full and aromatic infusion.
Was so good, until i had a taste of the Smoked Salmon Scottish , sprinkled with Gyokuro Samurai Tea,
the smoked salmon sandwich was out of this world and would even melt a non-bread lover's heart.
The herbed tender fish slices accompanied by toasted brioche and soft Mascarpone cream cheese,just the best combination to go with the garden salad.
Later on, i was indulge by the bitter sweet Crème Brule , Chocolate Fondant served with a warm chocolate cake
with a light custard cream and a scoop of homemade Vanilla Bourbon Tea Ice cream.
It was this homemade Vanilla Bourbon Tea ice cream that blown my mind away. It was definitely one of the best ice cream i've ever had. Just soooo nice.
Then i realized , anything infused with Vanilla bourbon Tea would turned out to be a mind blowing dessert , just like the Crème Brule we had,
it was really delightful,
besides the infusion of the exclusive VBT (Red tea blended with aromatic vanilla bean) , it was infuse with a Phuguri Darjeeling tea.
Indeed a refreshing return to the traditional confection.
We also had Macaroons , not really a big fan , but i've figured why not, so we had 3 Earl Grey & Chocolate, we won't go wrong with Chocolate , right. hehe
A lavish calorific treat to kick-start the day i must say.

Another Friday, another weekend to look forward to.
Ahhhh i can't be more relieve. Friday is the most enjoying and peaceful day for me.
Can't be more happy! Yay! #TGIF #TGIF
This week was a busy week, i have 2lab test , 2labs , and not to forget Math test.
I would like to stress about my biology lab test,
we had 24questions in total and we are given 2.5mins, IMAGINE 2.5 mins , for each question.
You don't have time to let your mind wander, you can't afford to lose your time not even, 1second, okay maybe i exaggerated a bit.
2.5mins think about it, and we get to see all these questions once. Brhhhh
I experienced an adrenaline flush that hour. Ahhhhhhh *screams* The thought of the test still frights me. ;(

Therefore, i will be doing Retail Therapy real soon. Hope both of you are reading it Mom and Dad. hehe Love you both and Thank you. Big kiss.
In case you don't know what it is, 'Retail therapy is shopping with the primary purpose of improving the buyer's mood or disposition.'

Anyhow, shall we get started with food? hehe
Let's go back to Penang first hehe Deluxcious is Restaurant of the day.
The four of us, Povy, Joyce and Vivian had a first insight on the newly renovated cafe, though it wasn't completely done with it's renovation,
we just can't hold back ourselves but to pay a visit there.
We had a 5course Set dinner.
Pan-fried Salmon with Onion Ring , Marinated Miso Lamb , Rack of lamb with Balinese Spice Bakes , Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese Salmon and Baked Cheese Oyster as appetizer.
Deluxcious has been our all time favourite, mainly because of their Interior Design, the ambiance of the restaurant is very delightful.
You know, sometimes, great food and great service just aren't enough.
Deluxcious is certainly a Cafe that speaks for them, the experience they are giving is heavenly.
What is most surprising is the price , it’s not expensive at all. It's no joke!
They serves mainly Western Cuisine but the ability to infuse local herbs into their food definitely add a twist to each dish.
Definitely a must visit when i'm back? HAHAH Note it Super Bf. ;D

Guu with Otokomae , Japanese Cuisine, Downtown

I was amazed by this darkly lit wooden decor restaurant and the busy-ness when i first step foot into,Guu.
It serves... ... guess ... ... ... yees, Japanese food.
hohoh told cha i'm a Japanese food love. teehee
This time, we go for all grill instead of all raw sashimi.
A very different experience to enjoy your Jap food as it is an incredibly busy restaurant,
definitely not for a slow luxurious, intimate dining experience in a quiet ambiance which is what i usually go for .
Due to the crowd, we sat by the bar,It's quite an experience! ;D
Not to forget, I went with Gavin , Brian , and Jefferson.

We had from left to right, left to right,
Takoyaki/deep fried balled octopus , Spicy Ika Calamari with spicy garlic sauce.
Ebimayo/deep fried prawns dressed with spicy mayo. Nikuzyaga croquette/Deep Fried mashed potatoes,roll it in wheat flour,eggs,and breadcrumbs,until brown on the outside.
Grilled Cod with White wine Saikyo Miso Sauce.Chicken Karaage/deep fried chicken with garlic mayo.

Mushroom cheese bibimbap, literally means mixed meal.
Rice served in a hot stone bowl with sautéed mushrooms topped with cheese, dried seaweed, green inions and seaweed sauce.
The waitress help mix together with their skills. hohoh o.O
Additional dish, surprisingly delicious.

As for dessert, we had Banana Tempura
A deep fried banana with coconut ice-cream dressed with Chocolate sauce, mango sauce and blueberry sauce.
NICE NICE NICE!

Sushi Garden, Metrotown

My first crave in Vancouver was definitely Japanese food.
I don't know, i always have this affinity towards Japanese cuisine. Gahhh, bring me more Sushi! teehee
Glad that Gavin and Brian tried their very best to make me feels like home by bringing me out. hoho
I am a homie, i've always been one. ;D
So they brought me to the oh-so-famous Sushi Garden at Metrotown.
I was so lucky the queue wasn't long, i heard it's always flooded with people.
Anyway, the Sashimi was definitely the thick-est i've ever eaten.
It was so THICK. hahaha, had a really enjoyable lunch with them and no doubt the food was very nice.
Not to forget, there must be dessert to complete my meal each time. Then it's 'perfecto'. hehe
Purdy’s Ice Cream! My all time favourite! ;D Finally had a taste of it after 4 years.

First thing to shout is TGIF. I think this is the only time i am free from everything. hohoho
Just yesterday, i made some time to meet up with Cindy for brunch at abc Country Restaurant.
Credits to Cindy, we had a very filling and not to miss out DELICIOUS brunch.
It has been a while since i last had a scrumptious English breakfast.
It was a really authentic English Breakfast restaurant, from the design and the setting of the restaurant
to the food and the portion of the food and the services, it was a thumbs up.
It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner,7 days a week,the breakfast they served is until 4p.m. WOW
Perfect for those who stay up late and you know.
A homey welcoming place that will reminds you of the warmness back at home.

Bus and love

Hiii readers, i suddenly have this inspiration to blog in the midst of waiting for my ride(bus) to arrive.
Today's topic would be Bus and Love.
It's actually the same thing if you think in another prospective.
Let's see how waiting the bus resembles the arrival of 'true' love.
While i was waiting for my bus, i weren't facing the street. It makes me realize that,(through my friends)
The teenagers nowadays, don't have any patience, like seriously! Haven't you guys heard of 'good things come to those who wait'?
Love and bus, how can i relate it. teeeheeeeee
So if u can just stand still and wait for your bus, your bus will eventually come, they have a fixed time/shift, which you will get to go on board. Agree?
Same goes to relationship or 'true' love.
The 'right' one will come, if u just hang on there for a while. When i say a while, it means it might take a day, a week, a month, a year and the list goes on.
BUT! It will come right. It will and believe it will so you won't feel all desperate and sad and miserable for being single.
Those who take the bus or train to school, i know you can relate to me in just a flick of a finger, cause if you miss a bus, the other will come shortly, maybe in 15 minutes? ;D
The point is IT WILL COME.
Okay next point, so since i was facing the back meaning i don't know if my bus is arriving.
From what i've experienced (through my friend) usually people will anticipate the arrival of their so call 'right' one.
Here comes, 'be patient' ! Even if you see a bus coming, you won't know if the bus is the right one.
What you can do now is you have to OPEN YOUR eyes and see if it is the right one.
For some people, they will hop in to the bus without thinking about if it is the 'right' one.
If it is the right one, it will stay and it won't leave until you get on board.
If it is the other way round, Maybe in the process of going into the bus, you got hurt cause you are in a hurry of chasing your bus and you might drop your bag, fall down or ...
It naturally goes back to be patient.
How little do you see is, who frame your hasty judgements upon what which seems, you think it is the right one but LOOK AT YOU!
All hurt and injured during the overall process. It's just the first bus , or maybe even the wrong one. Why rush ?
Maybe your bus will stay, it happens, they have this spot which allow them to rest for 5mins, here comes another bus and love point.
You SURPRISINGLY happened to BE THERE, now, you have to ask yourself, if this is the right bus?
Maybe you've never try taking this bus and you would like to experience the route of the bus and see where it goes.
You can GO AHEAD. As long as you are not a hurry , because usually if you are in a hurry you cannot bear to take the wrong bus. You will be late for class. THIS IS BAD!
Maybe you will enjoy your ride but it will only be kept in your memory and you wouldn't want to take the bus anymore maybe it takes a long time, or you just doesn't like it.
The feeling of taking the old bus just isn't there, there's just something missing. but hey, feelings do change, if the old bus is all good and nice, surely you should continue with your ride.
But if it doesn't keep up the track, then it would be old rusty and dirty, then you will fall a sick if you insist sticking to your old ride.
As long as you are happy with your ride, this is all that matters.
In life, change is the only constant, you must agree with it. Nothing beats change.
I'll see how my Bus and Love goes and see if i come up with more points while waiting for the bus. hohoho

Since, it's such a good day, really a good day i must say!
Feeling the sun ,just so warm to lay on the grass. No i didn't do that. Teehee just saying.
It has been 10 days i don't know if this is a good thing or what but, i surely miss home. ;(
Oh well, life goes on.
Michelangelo, a superior Italian Restaurant.
The newly opened Restaurant at Gurney Plaza caught a lot of attention, mainly because the patio they add on in their design.
The only thing to avoid is do not sit under the Air conditioner. You can feel water droplets dripping down.
The service is slow and ponderous. Boohoo
The food was delicious, it just took quite some time to be served. hmmm
Glad that Wingeez was there with me ;D hoho, makes everything better.
For this, the company was what matters.

I distributed all 4king prawns, that’s why.

Sze Sze left early, so leaving Povy and Vivian.
Watched 福禄寿 with them. No comments. ;s ;B

KL Trip-il lido

It was months back , Mt first time to IL Lido with the KINS.
No doubt the food was very pleasing! We were into Spaghetti that day i guess, had 5 plates spaghettis.
Oh well, mine was definitely the highlight of the night.
Wait, the highlight of the night should be the Desserts. It takes 4 platters to satisfy us. ;D
From the Molten Lava Chocolate Cake to the Crème Brûlée, they were just to pleasing. I like i like i like!
Not forgetting the Lobster soup with Crab and Leeks Foam, definitely a thumbs up. The five of us enjoyed it so much!

Hello readers, the blogging mojo is finally here, hoho took me long enough to type all this out.
August has been a tearful month for me. grrr Must be all those farewell. ;(
Happy to know that there's a lot of people who makes it so hard for me to say goodbye. Good thing! Appreciate it. teehee
The saying of 'saying goodbye isn't the hard part, it's what we leave behind that's tough and what follows. ‘
Finally i’ve bided Penang goodbye, i must confess that i weep on the plane. Okay, prove that i am actually quite emotional lorhhh.
yep it's currently Summer now, but i don't really feel the heat. Only when there's sun, and i mean sunlight.
If there isn't then it's cold. Though the hottest it can get is 28°C and 13°C during the morning and night time.
So basically i am always on my cotton jacket. I can't wait till it's winter, i know i won't enjoy it much,i just want to wear all my winter coats.
So , to not bore all of you, let's enjoy some picture eyyy.

Super Bf and I celebrated our month-sary at Sigi's Bar & Grill a contemporary western cuisine.
I always love how Super Bf would make the effort to call for reservation beforehand.
On that day, it's like he booked up the whole restaurant, we've got all the space, all by ourselves.
It was an enjoyable day i must say, the food were splendid.
Happy Anniversary sweetie, had a 'peachy time with you. ;D

First and foremost, Happy Birthday Super Bf.
Can't believe how time flies, just too fast!
It's like half a year or more has whizzed by. Arghh
I know that on the actual date of his birthday i won't be with him.
So i sort of plan a early birthday celebration for him at Feringgi Grill.
I've been wanting to give him a treat for god knows how long, and finally had a chance to do so. ;D
Glad that everything goes well with my little plan. ;)
I must say, Feringgi Gril is my new love, i love the food and what compliments no doubt is their services.
I think the exorbitant price worth every bit of it! So glad that i chose the place.
Just so right. ehehehe What matters most was Super Bf enjoyed his day.

We start of with breads as you can see, dipped in the olive oil with vinegar. All time favourite!
Then continue with the first course, Amuse Bouche , followed by Angus Carpaccio, way to delicious.
Then comes the Scallop Vadovan Mornay, another irresistable dish.
Another extra order which Super Bf wants to try out, the Soup Trio Assiette. It consists of 3 tasting size soups changed daily.
it was Lobster , Pumpkin and Onion soup that day. The lobster one were the best among the 3.
Next, the mighty Sorbet, as a refresher.
We can then enjoy our main course!
I had a lamb loin, it as very creative to add the Pearl Barley in, you can see the one on top of the lamb.
While Super Bf had Grain Fed Beef Tenderloin with Red Wine as the sauce and a side order Thyme Roasted Chat Potato.
Raspberry Truffle as our dessert, too bad we were stuffed by the food. :( Didn't manage to finish it.
Which also means i couldn't order more desserts. Sigh such a waste! Aiks.

Levain, KL Trip

This was out very late,a month has passed.
Oh well, it's better late than never. ;D
It was back in KL.
I've been visiting KL back and forth lately and i must say it's because of the Visa application thing.
Anyhow, one down, one more to go. Grrr hopefully i can get it done before i leave.
So, once i arrived in KL together with Lin Hui, Povy and Joyce came to fetch us.
We went to Levain, a really nice place filled with lots of delicious bakeries & exquisite dessert but with very ~~bad service.~~
Nothing much to elaborate.

So it was 2 weeks back. Another lovely Sunday.
After my ballet class, Super Bf brought me to The Sun for a nice dinner.
The steak that i ordered was so nice! The waiter that served us was friendly.
I must say the most unforgettable was the company. hahaha
Eating alone with a pair of eyes staring at you eat isn't that bad after all. ;p

Roses are red, violets are blue.
But my roses are blue in colour! hehe
I know how much the Super Bf loves to buy me blue rose.
He always says, it's very special and rare just like me. Awwwww Melting. Bahhh
Thank you Super Bf for the lovely blue roses.
This time, he ordered 14blue roses, however , it turned out to be 9 roses only.
Well, this is because it's not that the blue rose is naturally blue.
It's made with food colouring and water,by adding several drops of blue food colouring to the water,you can create blue roses from cut white roses.
Interesting isn't. btw my point is, it needs time and the outcome is not guaranteed. So only 9blue roses were born. huha!
Anyhow, i really love the roses you bought, and the wrapping. I love it!

Had dinner with the Super Bf at Delicious, well will skip that first.
Meet up with Lin Hui and her bf-Raymond at Coffee bean Gurney Plaza.
Why? cause Sister Choong-Herng told us there's frozen yoghurt and the peach one is very nice.
You don't want to miss out good food right especially dessert. We went straight away after our dinner.
The main point i'm trying to tell y'all is, guess?
Food? Nope guess again. hahahaha

Penang Hill-David Brown’s at Strawberry Hill

Bonjour!
i've wanted to go to Penang Hill,like seriously very eager to go since the day i read on the Newspaper the Funicular Train Service was ready to go.
The day before, i called Lin Hui for breakfast and we both agree that Dim Sum is out of the list.
So i googled some place for nice English Breakfast kind of 'breakfast' and found the perfect spot.
David Brown's at Strawberry Hill.
Though i must, the food was very disappointing. To add insult to injury, the tea wasn't really TEA. Like SERIOUSLY!
A big turn off! grrrrrrrr Why oh Why. HMPPPP
I love this place so much, but definitely not for the food but the environment/ambiance itself.
I would love to go again for sure with Super Bf! ;D

We wanted to taste the food for our next order,unfortunately this smoke salmon sandwich fail me 99.

One good thing is the scones are freshly baked. Good one! ehehe

Today must be the most touching day ever.
Fujiyi sang, you've been like a grandparents to me.
Though we don't spend much time together previously, due to the language difference.
Still we did go for a short trip to HK together. ;D
I want to tell you, Thank you! for everything.
Safe flight back to Hokaido, but be sure to open your welcoming hands to us. Very soon, we will meet again.

Delicious-2246gathering

It has been 2 years since i graduated from my High School.
Truth be told, the last 2 years in High school was the most memorable and unforgettable year i had.
I would go back all the time if i had the chance to do so. ;D I miss you all S5I <3
Anyway, it was really difficult to arrange our time to meet up. I know right, 365 days per year, we meet like once per year. :(
I won't be seeing you all starting from next year onwards =( This is so sad! Grrr accept the fact. =( *gulps
Okay stop ranting. Finallly, we had a 2246 gathering.
My all time favourite in class, Ee wei , Yin Fang and my lovely Partner Chern Min.
So it was another day spent in Delicious.
Don't say i didn't warn, it was a snap snap snap snap day! Took hell lots of pictures!

Not to forget our June Baby Chern Min, We celebrated her Birthday in advance.

A post before i welcome the month of June.
Ahhhh Time simply flew when were having so much fun.
Last Saturday, Lin Hui and i decided to reward ourself with some good food.
It has been a while since i last ate Korean Food. Daorae it was.
Ahhh thinking of it makes me go hungry again! Grr boohooo
I love it when Lin Hui is back in Penang cause she is my favourite companion when it comes to food.
Speaking of which, I have a list of restaurant. Grrrr Come back asap! oh oh you too Super Bf!!
It was another table for two, always a must have when it comes to Korean food,
my all time favourite-Korean Rice Cake. love love love but no maggie mee that day ohh. :(
Then a must have BBQ Beef short rib. Marinated one! love every bite of it!
Lin Hui recomended Bul-go-gi, another beef (marinated one also). Soooo yumeehhhhhh
We also had Korean Pancake which we didn't manage to finish it. Aikssss a nono for table for 2.
Last but not least, we ate Pork BBQ, which is pork special on the menu. A nono too. no nais no nais.
Overall it was a very satisfying meal i must say. Good food good food!! :DD
Then i brought LinHui to Straits Quay, her first time there. So call Penangnite! brhhhh

It was Chia Lin's Farewell! It gave me another reason to pay a visit to Delicious.
How time flies, we have to bid another college mate goodbye. Aiks.
We all decided to meet at 7 , 3 out of 6 were there only, which is the Poor Jane, Poor Chia Lin and Poor Liang Sun.
Ohhh Stares at *Noel Chin, Boon Yau and hmmm Vivian!
They arrived at 8:30 hohoho How punctual was that. Grrrrrrrr
while we the PoorS were waiting for the ProcrastinatorS , I suggested that we go try out some cakes over at Delicious.
Being the only girl certainly has it's advantage. They will agree with everything you says. hohoho Dessert Dessert here i comeeeeee.;p
After that, we foot the bill and meet up with the rest.
We had a hard time thinking where to go next, we ended up at Delicious again. LOL
So it was Delicious Day i guess. ;D Good for me!

Had this, forgotten it's name.
I love love love it. Though it was a little sweet. Still i love it.
It felt like Cotton candy, very crusty but when you taste it, it melts in your mouth.
Sooooo nice. Thumbs up for that! teeeheeee

The boys asked what is nice, so i recommended Chocolate Brownies which was what i had from my last visit.

One random day, i went to Bella Marino with Povy,Wendy,Joyce and Joelle.
Blame the lack of protein, my memory is getting bad. tsk!!
I still remember that day we wanted to try out Charlie Brown. We didn't at the end though.
Because, i've heard too muany bad review about it. hohoho.
Which is why, the writer-Me hasn't step foot into the Cafe.
Who wants to waste their time to try out bad things right, like seriously. 可爱不能当饭吃.
Anyhow, if one day i really paid a visit to C.Brown, I will make sure i write a post about it! ;p

Salaam.The writer was busy reminiscing her past few months when she came across this Raja Uda Album.
So there you go, back to January. The writer and her Super Bf featuring the college mates went to Raja Uda.
Raja Uda-The oh-so-famous Tom Yam.When we arrived, we saw 'people mountain people sea', quickly search for a table and found one! Hah! eheh
Then we went to join the queue to choose what we want to eat, there's fishball, meatball , fried fish , prawns, mushroom, abalone you name it!
Waited for an hour for the Tom Yam ehehe the saying of Good things come to those who wait seems applicable!
It was no doubt very delicious and the Tom Yam just attack your taste bud instantly! Feeling hot ,spicy and yummy at the same time,
the urge of wanting more and more makes you want to explode!
What is more surprising was the price!Eminently cheap and reasonable!

Delicious Birthday Dinner

You know how much i love Delicious by just seeing how often i visit the place.
So it was another simple birthday dinner with JiinHerng, sister choong! ;D
just 2days after 7th of May, i re-visited Delicious with Herng Herng.
This time, we ordered Fish Fillet Burger and Aglio Olio Spagghetti.
Like what i said, no meal is perfect until you are presented with a dessert.
We had a Chocolate Brownie with Vanila ice cream on top .
Too yummy to not finish the whole thing after both of our super filling main course.
Can't resist!! I loveeeee dessert! c; ehehehe
Had a really great time with Herng talking and updating each other about all the scuttlebutt and whatnot.
Especially love to discuss about the star of all time - Super Bf! ehehe <3
Seriously, a great time together! ;D Shall do this more often.

Delicious Birthday Lunch

Hiii I am back! ;D
So, it was not a well planned birthday i must say.
Just another happy gathering with the girls at Delicious. hehe
Truth be told, i have this *thing* with Delicious, especially the desserts they have, the variety of desserts, instantly fell in love with it.
Decided to order one starter, two main and a dessert.
Let's make it Grilled Chicken Cos Lettuce Salad, a salad i swear by! So nice especially with the cranberries and the dressing.
Next, we had Smoled Salmon Spagghetti and Mascarpone Pesto Chicken.
Last but not least, a must... Tiramisu! I still love Bravo's Tiramisu! ;s hehe
The food was nice and the companies were great!

How can you not love her?

May Baby

Greetings readers.
May has always been my favourite month, mainly because it's my birthday month.
I had a simple yet warm birthday with my family and friends.
If only Super Bf and Belle Belle was there to celebrate it with me, I reckon it would be perfect. ;p hehe
Anyhow, i am still glad that i don't have to spend my last teen alone in other country, though at first i was suppose to.
Be grateful be grateful! hehehe
There's really nothing much happening lately. So i have nothing much to share as well.
I know i haven't been blogging for some time, well, too lazy to do so! Give me some motivation please readers!
I am really surprised by the visits i am receiving, even though my blog is filled with dust and spiders. Thank you so much! ;D

April has always been the most wishful month!
First, my all time bff, sleepover honey you name it-Povy's Birthday(2nd).
Folllowed by my numero uno childhood sweetheart Jia Tian(23rd),we're not only classmate , we are ballet mates.
A friend i've treasured since we first met!
Not forgetting Lin Hui (26th) also my primary classmate till secondary.
Oh boy! Is this fate or what? hehe
Last but not least! Isabelle (30th) my heartthrob girlfriend. Best listener!
Happy Birthday my darlings! I hope it's not too late!

Ahh i've missed my baby girl.
Super Bf bought me this bouquet of flower with 11 roses red and pink on late January.
I just love how he would go store by store just to find the perfect bouquet of flower for me. ;D
Sweet baby. In fact, i am sweet-overdose.

Amelia Cafe

It was a long and blazing day,and i had a wonderful brunch with Lin Hui.
Took us quite some time to finally stepped foot into this Unique Restaurant-Amelia Cafe.
Thought I did a research prior to my visit to Amelia Cafe with the help of the Super Bf. Teeheee such a sweetie pie.
I still didn't manage to find the cafe which is located on the hidden one way alley.
So we decided to stopped the car and ask for help.
A random act of kindness eventually occurred.
A passer-by who led me to the road , with his clear directions, we finally arrived.
So thankful! It was the kindness of this total stranger that meant so much! Made my day! ;D Thank you Nene uncle.
We were amazed by this Unique style cafe.
It was a small and narrow post-war house with only 4tables available.
I assume the 2 workers, a male and a female is a couple. tsk eheh A chef and a waitress.
Both of us had Pasta.I had Aglio Olio with Bacon while Lin Hui had Mushroom with bacon.
For drink we ordered Lassi,mine was Orange and Lin Hui ,Mango.
Always a must after meal,dessert.
We shared a plate of Almond 'n' Chocolate cake with Ice Cream.
The food was so mouth watering! It makes me want to go back AGAIN. Ahhhhhhhhhhh *staring at Super Bf* bzzzmmmmm

Fruuze @ Straits Quay

I've paid a visit to Fruuze with Vivian and Sze sze.
We had a great day without Povy. lalalala no lahhh We went to buy her birthday present.
It's not a good thing if the birthday girl was there right. hehe
Anyway, i really had a great time.
Should do that more often, just with Povy lorh.
I am going to start counting down my days. ;D hehe
Going to anticipate the Super Bf's arrival, and the day i am going to leave.
Enjoying every moment now with all the loved ones. weeeeeee

Guess what the Cutie Pie ordered.
A normal Frozen Yogurt with 3toppings.
Normally i like it with Strawberries,Kiwis and Mangoes.
Instead of choosing fruits, the girl likes it with Kit Kats,Oreo and Marsh Mellows.
Turned out to be really nice! ;D heheh

Strawberry Forever Re-visited

Finally i had a taste of Strawberry Forever's dessert.
I've wanted to visit this dessert cafe but in vain due to ~~lack of company~~. Shit what is this.
Ahhhh I miss my Super Bf :( ohhhh my most passionate gourmet. boohooo
This feeling is no fun no fun. y i no friend. ahahah Just kidding.
I asked my darlings, Povy and Vivian out for lunch 2weeks ago. ehehhe
So happy that they were willing to go with me weeeeee
I must say i am a dessert lover! ;D *duhhhh obviously
I must say, their dessert was so nice, made me begging for more.

I must I must blog about this movie after i walked out from the cinema with Povy Darling!
I must say 单身男女/ Don't go breaking my heart is an excellent production.
A movie i will swear by!
Arghhh it seriously turned out to be unexpected.
When two love comes together, which one will you choose?
In addition, this movie features billions Hong Kong heart throbs Daniel Wu and Louis Kuu.
Also introduces you the unknown doe-eyed mainland actress Gao Yuan Yuan which is a pretty and sophisticated lady.
The main point is that what will you do, who will you choose when you are caught in a love triangle with these handsome & sweet man?
Well,had a lot of laugh out loud moments with Povy throughout the movie.I had the feeling that those people inside wanted to throw us popcorn!

Must watch!

Edo Ichi

Using this limited time available, i am going to update a little. (am waiting for the Super Bf to finish his assignment)
Well what motivates me to blog is no other than the hits.
Alright, as i mentioned i went out with my girls last night.
It has been ages since four of us ( wingeez) meet. It was back on January during Vivian's Birthday.
Can't believe it right. We did went out 3by 3 but not 4.
Albeit living in the same Island, we couldn't even find time to catch up with each other. Sad ttm.
I was elated to meet them and we had quite a great time together.
Also, Lin Hui is back in the Island. Calls for another meet up.
First went to Edo Ichi for our dinner.
I have been craving for some Sashimi!!! Insisted that i want to eat Japanese Cuisine! I don't care!! I WANT!

P: u really want to eat Japanese food.
J:Yes!!!
P:okay i will call to make reservation.
J: *on cloud nine* hehehehe

Lin Hui and I meet Povy and Vivian at Edo Ichi.
I must say Japanese cuisine is one of my favourite favourite.
Their Sashimi was mouth watering! hehe Love the white Tuna.
It was more economical if compared to Kirishima,totally worth the price.
Had an enjoyable dinner, though i wasn't really stuffed by the food. Too bad :S
We then switched our destination also Szesze joined us for our second round.
Before that dropped Lin Hui home as she has assignment due on i don't know when.
Okay Hiiii my little Princess Sze sze, love talking to her. Just so cute!
We went to Straits Quay cause it is Povy's turn to crave to pay a visit to Berlin(a french bar)!
Since my wish were granted, it was her turn.
This is where all the 'hey let's take pictures' comes.
*snapped here and there* which i will show you maybe one or two or three or four. It depends. ;p

Greetings readers, i know the 'i wil blog religiously' thing vanished in the air just like that. *puff*
Oh well, sorry! Am caught up with the whole Uni thing.
Aiks, i was supposed to go for May intake, i just delay it to August as Mummy Ong insisted that i have to apply my US visa before i leave the country.
So, i will be staying in Penang till July.
Think of the bright side, i will be seeing Super Bf before i leave!! Muahahahaha *over the moon* ehehe
I have never reveal that where am i going to study, i will keep it as a secret yet. ;D hehehe Wait till i am there then you all will know.
Anyhow, this is just a short update, will be seeing my girls tonight. Stay tuned. :)
